HOWEVER, in residentially-zoned areas, you can have no more than 6 fowl, AND they must be in a pen, coop, or structure that is located in your property and within 50' from your property line. (Fifty feet is measured from your property line to the edge of the structure on each side.) The height of the structure must be high enough to keep the fowl from escaping.
