5. What type of schedule do police officers work?

Police officers with the Palestine Police Department work 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off.

6. Will I need to purchase a uniform or equipment?

Except for personal undergarments and boots, your complete uniform is provided.

8. Do you offer Lateral Entry?

Yes, Certified Police Officers may be eligible for lateral entry. Salary will depend on years of experience at a paid Police Department.

Yes, we currently offer a $5,000 sign on bonus to eligible Certified Police Officers.
