3. Will I get paid while I attend the academy?: Yes, you will get paid while attending the academy.

5. What type of schedule do police officers work?: Police officers with the Palestine Police Department work 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off.

6. Will I need to purchase a uniform or equipment?: Except for personal undergarments and boots, your complete uniform is provided.

8. Do you offer Lateral Entry?: Yes, Certified Police Officers may be eligible for lateral entry. Salary will depend on years of experience at a paid Police Department.

9. Do you offer any sign on bonuses?: Yes, we currently offer a $5,000 sign on bonus to eligible Certified Police Officers.
