On November 11, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Officers with the Palestine Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Crockett Road in reference to Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Officers located a victim, identified as a 28-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound on his neck.

The victim was described as being in critical but stable condition at the time of this writing.
