The Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (CIQ) Form requires disclosure of certain business and gift-giving relationships, if any that individuals or businesses may have with local government officials as defined in Chapter 176.001(1-a) of the Local Government Code. This form must be filed with the City Secretary no later than the 7th business day after the person becomes aware of the facts that require the statement to be filed. See Chapter 176, Local Government Code, for details. A person commits an offense if the person knowingly violates Section 176.006, Local Government Code. An offense under this section is a Class C Misdemeanor.
