Voter Registration Deadline

Texas law requires eligible voters to register by the 30th day before Election Day. The voter registration deadline for the November 7, 2023, Special Election is Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Voters may register at the Anderson County Elections Office, 703 N. Mallard Street, Suite 116, Palestine, Texas, or online at the link below.

Applications for ballot by mail shall be mailed to:

Applications for ballot by mail must be received by mail no later than the close of business on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Early Voting by Personal Appearance

Early Voting by Personal Appearance will be conducted each weekday at the Anderson County Courthouse Annex, 703 N. Mallard, Suite 103A, Palestine, Texas, as follows:

  •  October 23, 2023, through November 1, 2023, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • November 2, 2023, and November 3, 2023, between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Election Day Voting

District 3 Voters will be listed in voting boxes according to Anderson County Precincts. Election Day Voting will be conducted between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the following polling locations:

  • Washington Early Childhood Center, 304 W. Hamlett Street, Palestine, Texas
  • Westwood Baptist Church, 1809 Bassett Road, Palestine, Texas
