Chief’s Clergy Coalition

Chiefs Clergy Coalition

The Chief's Clergy Coalition (CCC) program is designed to develop a joint partnership between the police department and churches in order to better understand the needs and concerns of the community.

The CCC was initiated in April of 2018 by Police Chief Andy Harvey in order to bring the city's religious community together to ease the anxiety that faith groups felt at that time due to an outbreak of church-related shootings.

Today, Chief Mark Harcrow continues to lead the CCC and is working to continue opening the lines of communication between religious entities and the police department.

The CCC meets quarterly with pending dates of August 11th and November 10th. Due to COVID-19, the dates are dependent on the current situation. We will release an update as soon as possible.
