The City of Palestine is flexible in its incentive policies.  Aside from the abatements offered for job creation, we offer "fast track" inspections on large projects, tax increment financing, and for more creative ideas, we will link you with our non-profit economic development corporation.

In the last year, we have negotiated water and wastewater rates for high volume users.  We have financed major infrastructure improvements for large employers.  The Palestine Economic Development Corporation has made large "forgiveable" loans in return for job creation.
