The Palestine Police Department is dedicated to the community oriented policing philosophy. The success of the department’s crime prevention strategies depends upon the police working together in partnership with the community.
Palestine Police seek to develop links within the local community, schools, ethnic communities, local business and other groups to reduce the incidence and impact of crime.
We have an array of community programs to include the Citizens on Patrol, Youth Corps, UNIDOS, Chief's Clergy Coaltion and various safety presentations as they are requested. To learn more about our other programs, click on the links located at the bottom of this website page.
The Police/Community Liaison Michele Herbert and Crime Prevention Specialists Sgt David Kassaw and Officer Freddy Nino are ready to help you get involved!
