Utility Services - Water, Sewer, Trash

Effective August 3rd:  The City of Palestine will no longer take payments over the phone with a customer service clerk. We offer a variety of ways to pay your utility bills. Please select a payment method below going forward that best suits your needs.

Payment Methods

  • Online bill payments. This is the preferred method of payment. You can sign up through our website at http://www.cityofpalestinetx.com/ then click the green link “PAY BILL ONLINE”.
    1. This service is fast, convenient and payments can be made 24-7!  
    2. This is a free service. No convenience fee!
    3. You can now sign up for e-bill meaning your bills will be emailed to you moving forward. This is a new feature recently added. If you want to go paperless, please log in and select it!
    4. You can also print past/present bill copies. 
  • Pay by Phone automated. Call 866-279-4130. You will want to have your account number handy.
    1. This is a fast way to pay by phone when you do not wish to use the online bill payment feature.
    2. This is a free service. No convenience fee!
  • Mail your payment. You can continue to mail your payment if you wish. Although, the cost of postage is getting higher! Please consider option 1 or 2.
  • In person. We enjoy seeing our customers and will continue to accept payments in person. Please understand that during peaks periods, you may have to wait in line for a bit. 
  • Draft using checking or savings account. You can select to have your account drafted automatically. We do have a short form to fill out and need a voided check. You can request this through Customer Service clerks at City Hall, or through our email at customerservice@palestine-tx.org.

Accounts disconnected for Non-Payment - If your account is disconnected for non payment, please make the payment, then call customer service to insure a reinstate order is created.
