Severe Weather Events

During periods of Severe Weather, City of Palestine will post alerts at the top of our City's website, on the City of Palestine, Texas - Community Information Facebook page, and the Palestine Police Department Facebook page. Although East Texas Council of Governments had been advertising a new emergency notification system for East Texas, unfortunately it was not quite ready to be used for this weather event. Code Red remains fully functional should it need to be used. ETCOG will let us know when it will be ready for East Texas to transition fully to the new emergency management notification system and stop using Code Red.
