Program Description

The Public Works Administration provides the direction and guidance of the Streets, Parks, Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Fleet Maintenance and Facility Maintenance Departments. Major activities are daily project management, long-range planning and budget control.

Goals

• Direct and guide the Departments of Public Works to achieve the maximum results in completing their daily tasks that will benefit the citizens of Palestine.

Objectives

• Develop a schedule to commence and end all Capital Improvement Projects that are budgeted in this fiscal year.

• Establish and maintain a schedule for city forces to complete their portion of the Capital Improvement Program.
