Through initiation of cooperative efforts of staff and the citizens of Palestine, this program will focus on public awareness, violation identification, investigation and prosecution of abusers.
Reduce occurrences of illegal dumping
Make citizens aware of problem areas
Locate owners, present evidence, and keep records of property owners that are in violation of city codes.
File through Municipal Court System.
Set up neighborhood meetings to get illegal dumping sites out to the public.
Remove illegal sites through the effectiveness of the city-wide cleanup, community service workers, and other city staff.
